Boeing og IFALPA

Boeing har alltid vært flinke til å samhandle med IFALPA og deres Aircraft Design and Operations Committee medlemmer. Så også nå:
On April 9th, at the invitation of Boeing's Chief Pilot, 747 Programs, Captain Mark Fueurstein, members of the IFALPA ADO Committee evaluated the 747-800. Captain Richard Woodward, IFALPA EVP Technical Standards, flew the aircraft (a BBJ variant of the 747-800) in the company of Captain Stefan Wolf, Chairman of the Aircraft Design and Operations (ADO) Committee, Captain Bill De Groh, Vice Chairman of Operations, and First Officer Thomas Weiser, Vice Chairman Design ADO.
Following a session on the engineering simulator, the IFALPA team flew a three and a half hour evaluation sortie.
The IFALPA team reported their enjoyment of flying the latest evolution of the 747.
Commenting on the evaluation, Captain Woodward expressed his thanks to the many people at Boeing who made the visit such an outstanding success.
