German, Slovenian Police Receive Support from Heli-One
Heli-One has agreed with Germany’s Bundespolizei (BPOL) federal police force to provide long-term maintenance, overhaul and repair services for its fleet of Eurocopter Super Puma AS332L1s. The NATO Support Agency awarded Heli-One with the 10-year contract. The company will perform airframe refurbishments, engine and major component overhauls, G-level maintenance inspections, interior modifications and system upgrades and integrations. Heli-One has also secured an agreement with the Slovenian National Police to upgrade communication equipment on an EC135. Heli-One’s Stavanger, Norway facility will install a Tetra radio system in the helicopter. This marks the third helicopter upgrade Heli-One has performed in Europe.
