SAS Adds Leased Boeing 737s

Scandanvian Airline Systems (SAS), flag carrier for Denmark, Norway and Sweden, took delivery of 7 leased Boeing 737-800s from GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS).

The deliveries occurred between April 2012 and May 2013, the result of GECAS' existing order book with Boeing. GECAS is scheduled to deliver to newly leased 737-800s to SAS by 2014, as the airline looks to continue modernizing and expanding its commercial fleet.
