Planes from American Airlines and Southwest Airlines collided at LaGuardia Airport this morning at about 11 a.m.
No injuries were reported, according to both airlines.
"The wingtip of the aircraft operating Southwest Airlines Flight #449 departing from New York LaGuardia to Denver came in contact with another aircraft that was awaiting a gate," Southwest said in a statement.
The 143 passengers on board the Southwest flight departed the aircraft and were bussed to a terminal where people worked to get them to their destinations, according to Southwest.
The Southwest plane involved was taken in for inspection and repairs.
