Min oppfatning er, og har alltid vært, at dersom vi ikke hadde blitt forledet til å tro at M-ADS var løsningen fordi den passet inn i den såkalte FANS kurven til ICAO, så hadde Norge vært markedsledende på ADS-B for både onshore og offshore flyging for mange år siden.

Becker Avionics' ATLASS ADS-B Solution Selected by Semco Maritime
Semco Maritime, a global project engineering company focusing on the offshore energy sector, has selected Becker Avionics' new ADS-B Traffic Localization And Surveillance System (ATLASS) for offshore flight tracking.
ADS-B technology makes flying significantly safer for the aviation community and paves the way for extended air traffic surveillance coverage, even in regions where radar contact is unavailable. The ATLASS solution was chosen by Semco Maritime to manage offshore flight operations in a cost-effective way with a reliable and proven technology. Becker's ADS-B flight tracking concept provides the flexibility to specifically customize the system to meet the demanding operational requirements of airports and aircraft operators.
Becker Avionics will display the new ATLASS product at the 58th annual AEA International Convention & Trade Show in Dallas, Texas (Booth #915), April 8-11, 2015.
