Aerobatics - UAS Vision video

High Intensity Aerobatic Displays

Three short, but high intensity, aerobatic displays at the Classic Fighters airshow held at Omaka Aerodrome, Blenheim, New Zealand.
The Pitts Special (company designations S1 and S2) is a series of light aerobatic biplanes designed by Curtis Pitts. It has accumulated many competition wins since its first flight in 1944. The Pitts biplanes dominated world aerobatic competition in the 1960s and 1970s and, even today, remain a potent competition aircraft in the lower categories.
The Zivko Edge 540 manufactured by Zivko Aeronautics is a highly aerobatic aircraft. Capable of a 420 degree per second roll rate and a 3,700 foot per minute climb rate, it has been flown to victory on the international Unlimited aerobatics circuit several times since the mid-1990s. A tandem-seat version is sold as the Edge 540T.
The Zivko Edge 540 is the most common aircraft used in the Red Bull Air Race World Series.
Giles G-202 is an unlimited-level aerobatic airplane designed by Richard Giles.
This carbon fiber composite monoplane was manufactured by AkroTech Aviation in Troutdale, Oregon. The tandem two-seater was based upon on the single-seater Giles G-200.
The G-202 was produced and sold as kit plane by AkroTech, and slightly modified as CAP 222 by Avions Mudry (France).
